This Privacy Policy explains how the personal data of users ("User") of the PMSim platform, operated by RIDVAN ÖZATA ("Data Controller"), is collected, processed and protected under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK").
1. Personal Data Collected
The following personal data may be collected through the platform:
- Identity data: first name, last name, national identity number
- Contact data: e-mail address, phone number, address
- Account data: password (stored in encrypted form), sign-in records
- Transaction data: subscription and payment history (card details are not stored by us)
- Usage data: exam attempts, answers and results
- Measurement data: the page addresses visited, the source that referred you to the site, country and device/browser type. This measurement uses no cookies and creates no identifier that persistently identifies a visitor; the data is assessed at an aggregate (statistical) level.
2. Purpose of Processing
Personal data is processed in order to create accounts and verify identity, carry out subscription and payment transactions, record exam results and present them to the user, fulfil legal obligations (invoicing, distance sales legislation and similar) and respond to user support requests.
3. Transfer of Data
Payment transactions are carried out through the infrastructure of the payment institution iyzico (iyzico Ödeme Hizmetleri A.Ş.) in accordance with the KVKK and related legislation; card details are processed directly by iyzico and not by us. Personal data is not shared with third parties unless legally required.
Site traffic is measured using the cookieless web analytics provided by our hosting provider, Vercel Inc. The service produces visit statistics at an aggregate level; it creates no identifier capable of identifying individuals and is not used for advertising.
4. Retention Period
Personal data is retained for the periods prescribed by the relevant legislation or for as long as the purpose of processing requires; at the end of that period it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
5. User Rights
Under article 11 of the KVKK, users have the right to learn whether their personal data is being processed, to request information if it has been processed, to learn the purpose of processing, to know the third parties to whom it is transferred domestically or abroad, to request correction if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly, to request its deletion or destruction under the conditions of article 7 of the KVKK, and to request that these actions be notified to the third parties to whom the data was transferred.
